COBI WW2 2541 - SU100 Tankdestroyer
The SU-100 is a Soviet self-propelled gun that entered service in 1944. The genesis of this model is associated with the need to strengthen self-propelled artillery at the end of the war. The newly constructed D10 - 100 mm gun was mounted on a slightly modified hull of the popular SU-85. In the period 1944-46, approximately 4,500 units of this vehicle were produced. The self-propelled gun was very popular, serving in several dozen armies from around the world. Several countries still maintain the SU-100 in combat readiness.
The model of the SU-100 self-propelled gun was designed entirely from COBI construction blocks. The use of as many as 655 blocks made it possible to faithfully reproduce this vehicle. Stickers are not included. The blocks have been covered with high-quality prints that do not wear off even during intensive use. The model was equipped with efficient track traction, a movable cannon and opening hatches. An attractive-looking dummy engine is located under the service hatch. The set includes bricks with Soviet and Polish markings to choose from. The whole thing is completed with a figure of a soldier with a Mosin rifle , a hat and a red banner. The easy-to-read manual contains a list of bricks and statistics that you can use in the free COBI Historical Battle Game.
The set is ideally suited to the construction of dioramas recreating the eastern front. The SU-100 set is a great gift idea for everyone, regardless of age, of a military fan and a great start to the adventure with COBI construction blocks.
