Cobi WW2 2401 - Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkrad

Cobi WW2 2401 - Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkrad
Manufacturer: COBI

The Kettenkrad is one of the most unusual vehicles of the Second World War. It is like a combination of a motorcycle and a tracked vehicle. The design was so successful that even the Allied forces used captured copies of this vehicle. The Kettenkrad was designed in the late 1930s at NSU Motorenwerke. In 1941 it officially entered service with the Wehrmacht. It is perfect for rough terrain as a light tug, tractor or supply transporter. It could carry machine guns, mortars, and telephone cord drums. About 8,411 were produced.

The Sd.Kfz.2 Kettenkrad model was entirely designed with COBI construction blocks. The use of as many as 176 blocks made it possible to faithfully recreate not only the vehicle itself, but also the trailer filled with supplies. Stickers are not included. The pads are covered with high-quality prints that do not rub off even during intensive use. The set includes a figurine of a German soldier in the Afrika Korps uniform. The sensational, universal head with a scarf print on the face will surely find many uses among fans of COBI blocks. The whole set is complemented by a long list of accessories such as tools, weapons, headgear and a special brick with the printed name of the vehicle. An interesting fact is the hinged flap, under which there is a beautiful engine print. The set is perfect for building dioramas recreating the struggles in North Africa, Eastern and Western Europe. The Kettenkrad set is a great gift idea for everyone, regardless of age, of military fans and a great reason to start an adventure with COBI building blocks.
