The F-35®A LIGHTNING II® is a single-seat, multi-role fighter designed by Lockheed Martin Corporation. On January 31, 2020, Poland signed an agreement for the purchase of 5th generation fighters. 32 F-35A conventional take-off and landing aircraft have been ordered, with initial deliveries to begin in 2024. The first planes will be delivered to the airbase in Łask in 2026. Efforts are underway to speed up deliveries! Poland becomes the 14th country in the world and the 10th NATO country to join the F-35 program.
